Balance transfer (Airtel, GP, BL, Robi)



New process in 2020. Main account balance transfer to other SIM user. Small charge for every transaction. Also Robi Prepaid customers can request for balance to any Robi number.

Airtel Customers can transfer balance from Airtel to Airtel numbers at anytime, anywhere. Situation arises when a valuable Airtel customer may not be able to go to recharge point to get balance.


Most easy way to send sim balance from operators app. Which is MYGP for Grameenphone, MY Banglalink for Banglalink user, My Airtel & My Robi for airtel and Robi users. All those link for google play store or official website. You can click those link to download apps for your android.

1. Balance Transfer in Grameenphone

First of all, GP users need to registration "Balance transfer service" for sending their balance. To Register Dial *121*1500# then press from prepaid connection. There is two process available for balance trasfer. One for new GP sim users. Another process for GP Existing subscriber or old user.

To Register 

Dial *121*1500# then press from prepaid connection.

To Transfer Balance
Dial *121*1500# then press 2 and follow the instruction.


To Change PIN
Dial *121*1500# then press 3 and follow the instruction.

Balance Transfer (BTR) Procedures:

* From now on new subscribers don't have to follow the following process, they will have a built in option for balance transfer in their new SIM.

* Existing subscribers will not get built in facility in their SIM unless and until they change their SIM.

New Balance Transfer Process
Transfer Balance-> Give Receiver's Mobile Number -> Confirm Mobile No -> Give Amount -> Confirm Amount -> Give PIN

New Pin Change Process
Give Old PIN-> Give New PIN-> Confirm New PIN Register


2. Balance transfer in Banglalink


BL customers need to register first to enjoy this balance transfer service. All Banglalink Prepaid and Call & Control (C&C) customers can transfer balance to other Banglalink Prepaid and C&C.

Note that: New subscriber will only be able to use balance transfer service after one month of their activation (first call date). Customers will receive a pin number in reply to the registration SMS. You will require this pin number to transfer balance every time onwards. Balance transfer service will also be available in Prepaid USSD menu.

To Register: 

Dial *1000#⇒Balance Transfer⇒ Set PIN⇒ New PIN⇒Confirm New PIN⇒(Pop Up Message:) “You have successfully set your new PIN”

To Transfer Balance: 
Dial *1000#⇒Balance Transfer⇒Amount⇒Enter the number⇒ Enter your PIN

►Through SMS

Go to create new message option and type ‘BTR<space>Amount<space>Receiver Mobile Number<space>PIN’. Then send the message to 1000 (You will receive a confirmation)

To Change PIN: 

Dial *1000#⇒Change PIN⇒Enter Current PIN⇒Enter NEW PIN⇒Confirm PIN

►Through SMS

Go to create new message option and type CPIN<space>OLDPIN<space>NEWPIN. Example: ‘CPIN 1234 4321’
Then send the message to 1000

CONDITIONS

    • Minimum Tk. 10 and maximum Tk. 100 can be transferred in a single transaction.
    • Maximum Tk. 500 in a day and Tk.1000 in a month can be transferred
    • Amount should be a round figure and number only without any text (e.g. 50)
    • Daily limit would be lapsed every night at 12:00AM
    • Sender charge Tk. 2.55 and Receiver charge Tk. 2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC)

                3. Balnce transfer in ROBI


                To send balance in Robi call 1210 and follow the instructions (IVR call free). Also can try ussd codes below. To get any help about services call 123 or sms HELP to 1210.

                To Transfer Balance: 

                Dial *140*6*1#

                To Request Balance (from others): 

                Dial *140*6*2#. Minimum 60 Paisa need in your account to request.

                Terms & Conditions

                • A Robi connection must be active at least 30 day for balance transfer service.
                • Customer can transfer Tk. 500 per day but maximum Tk. 100 in single transfer.
                • Minimum transfer amount is Tk. 5 and maximum transfer amount is Tk. 1000 monthly.
                • Transfer amount must be a whole number (e.g. BDT 15.30 is not valid).
                • Supplementary Duty (SD) + VAT on price inclusive of SD and conditions apply.
                • Customers will be auto registered for the service after their first transaction (with a pin). Please use the PIN for future transactions. To disable the PIN, SMS off to 1210
                • Sender charge Tk. 2.55 and Receiver charge Tk. 2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC)


                4. Balance transfer in Airtel

                To transfer balance from airtel type BTR 016XXXXXXXX 10 and send SMS to 1000. Or dial *1212# for gifting internet data, voice and balance transfer.

                Note that: If customers forget their pin, they can request for pin by typing PIN & send SMS to 1000


                • Disable PIN: Type PIN OFF and send to 1000
                • Change PIN: Type PIN


                Terms & CONDITION

                  • Balance transfer between Airtel Prepaid to Airtel Prepaid is possible.
                  • A airtel connection must be active at least 30 days to use balance transfer service.
                  • Minimum Tk.5 and maximum Tk.100 can be transferred in a single transaction
                  • Maximum 500 in one day and maximum Tk.1000 in one month.
                  • Tk.2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC) will be charge from the sender’s balance.
                  • Tk.2.55 (including VAT, SD & SC) will be charge from receiver’s end.
                  • Sender need to have at least 2.5TK available in his/her account after transfer.
