The service will not allow a customer to take any further credit till the previous one (if any) is fully paid
The first attempt to recover credit will be immediate on next recharge as first priority and if the customer doesn’t recharge within the first 24 hours, system will start recovery after first 24 hours is over
Currently the recovery happens only to the extent that a minimum of Tk.1 is left in customer’s balance.

  • No Incoming SMS, Monthly Subscription fee and EDGE usage will be charged from the Emergency Balance
  • Purchased minutes (e.g. from 25 paisa offer, bundles) and other free bonuses will get priority in usage first than Emergency Balance
  • My Zone customers will also be able to enjoy Emergency balance and MY ZONE discounts will be applicable on Emergency Balance

  • Roaming usage is not applicable in Emergency Balance
  • The emergency balance usage will be deducted from the amount recharged/refilled by the customer and unused Emergency Balance also will be cleared .   • The emergency balance amount can be used at any time and its validity is for 30 days

  • Product tariff and Pulse will be applicable on Emergency Balance
  • To enjoy emergency balance customers needs to have a valid main account
  • All other tariff, services and Pulse will remain unchanged
  • 3% Supplementary Duty (SD) + 15 % VAT inclusive of SD will be applicable for all charges + 1% surcharge on base tariff

  • Through this feature all the Robi prepaid subscribers will be eligible to get Jhotpot Balance of BDT 5-100
  • Jhotpot Balance credit limit will be changed every month depending on the customer’s usages and recharge pattern

For Registration in Jhotpot Balance, customers can Opt-in any of the following way:

  • SMS: Type “START” send it to 8811.

For De-registration in Jhotpot Balance, customer can Opt-out any of the following way:

  • USSD: Dial *8811*2# (Free of cost) or
  • SMS: Type “STOP” send it to 8811.

For Status Check customer will be able to check the Jhotpot Balance status in below way:

  • USSD :: Dial *8811*3# (Free of cost) or
  • SMS :: Type “STATUS” send it to 8811

  • Customers will be able to Check the Jhotpot Balance amount by dialing *222*16# (Free of Cost)
  • Customers can use this Jhotpot Balance amount for any local voice calls, local SMS, & any Voice and/or SMS Bundle Purchase.
  • In the next recharge of the customer, the Jhotpot balance (70% of the recharge amount or total consumption amount - whichever is lower will be applicable) amount will be deducted from the recharged/refilled amount
  • Customer can enjoy till the maximum/full limit of his/her Jhotpot Balance amount. Once the Credit amount is fully consumed, no further credit will be allowed till s/he repays the loan (partially/totally).
  • Respective package call charge & pulse will be remain unchanged while availing Jhotpot Balance
  • To enjoy Jhotpot Balance customers need to have main account validity
  • Any IDD / Roaming usage is not applicable in Jhotpot Balance
